“I worship chaos… and metal”
Children of Bodom have been relentlessly assaulting the metal world for just shy of two decades now, and judging from their recent stop at the Neighborhood Theatre in Charlotte’s historic NoDa neighborhood, the assault is still going strong. With the release of their ninth full-length studio album, I Worship Chaos, the Finnish metal icons decided to take their show on the road with support from California thrashers Exmortus, and the living legend from Norway, Abbath Doom Occulta with his new solo project simply called Abbath.
For anyone that missed this tour as it cut through the states, you have my sincerest condolences because this was a real rager and it’s unsure as to when bands as great as Abbath and Children of Bodom will make the trip back over from Europe.

Children of Bodom will be starting their 20th anniversary tour this coming March in Europe, and maybe if we’re lucky they’ll plan a North American leg of the tour as well.
