Are You Ready for the Born 2 Ride Tour? Interview with Ryan McCombs of Soil

The Summer concert season is about to start, that means overly priced tickets, parking fees, beer, food and band merchandise. If you need your live show fix but don’t want to deal with all of this, check out the Born 2 Ride Tour featuring Soil and (hed) p.e. that will be hitting the west coast starting in May.

Soil has been together since 1997 and after a few lineup changes, original vocalist Ryan McCombs returned to the band in 2011 to join other original members Tim King and Adam Zadel. After releasing a live DVD and spending a lot of time on the road, the band entered the studio to record their first album since reuniting with McCombs. Soil have been touring almost non-stop since the release of their sixth album Whole and they are putting on some of the best rock shows you will ever see at every stop. This group of hard rockers are proving to be one of the most dedicated and hardest working bands in the scene today, making them a can’t-miss act for fans of the hard rock and metal genres. I was able to reach McCombs via phone call recently to ask about the latest album, touring, and what himself and the band have planned for the future. Check out what he had to say.

Fans of hard rock and metal will have something to look forward to this Summer as the Born 2 Ride Tour will roll through many cities on the west coast. You just heard Soil Vocalist Ryan McCombs talk about the band’s latest album and the upcoming tour but what about the other band on the bill? Make sure to check out a separate interview I did with (hed) p.e. frontman Jahred to hear what he had to say about the bands new music and tour.
